lyrics

RAIN DOWN

Closer, you’re not far
Your criminal eyes, your criminal eyes I seek
They’re much too dark
You don’t get enough, you don’t get enough of me
And so I wait
I love so much, I lust you too much
Won’t break your precious heart
We’re going too far, we’re going too far I see

Rain down on me
I can take all your hate and pain
Rain down on me
I can take a bullet to the brain

Loathe me ‘cause you’re weak
And don’t you deny, and don’t you deny the beast
Swept up in you
So let it come out, so let it come out, we’re through
And so I wait
I hate you so much, I you hate me so much
Will break your precious heart
We’re going too far, we’re going too far to sea

Rain down on me
I can take all your hate and pain
Rain down on me
I can take a bullet to the brain
Rain down on me
I can see the ecstasy again
Rain down on me
There’s no one left to blame

I see a little cloud, see a little cloud
Closer now to the ultimate point of view
And we’re waltzing around, spinning around, spinning around
Closer now to the ultimate sound, going too far, too far to sea

Rain down on me
I can take all your hate and pain
Rain down on me
I can take a bullet to the brain
Rain down on me
Can you feel the ecstasy again
Rain down on me
Can’t you see there’s no one left to blame
There’s no one left to blame
There’s no one left to blame
